“The earth does not belong to man; man belongs to the earth” is a quote often attributed to Chief Seattle of Washington’s Suquamish Tribe. Its meaning is as important today as it was during the Chief’s leadership during the 1800s. Governments and industries of all types and sizes realize the benefits of solar energy as well as the importance—even urgency—of adopting today’s expanding technology as a way to counter today’s potentially catastrophic environmental challenges. For decades, scientists have been researching various methods for effectively generating and harnessing green energy and have made significant progress with solar and wind. One example of this progress is the fact that Idaho solar  power plants can now provide 26.4% of all electricity used in the state. With plans to further increase the number of solar panels across The Gem State, this figure will only continue to climb.   Many other states and municipalities across the country are following Idah
